Catching up on posts (these are only a year behind, hush  Wink )

The first had I made was the ever-so-popular Banana Republic knock-off hat (Pattern: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=197572.0 )
I used some leftover Manos.

The next two are the knit the same, it was super easy, just ribbed. The red one in debbie bliss tweed (I think) was for my brother and the blue one (miscellaneous discontinued yarn) for my grandfather.

aaand I wanted to try my hand at entrelac. I kept putting it off, but finally when we went up to casino-rama I bit the bullet. Skip to the pictures if you like, this next part is just me rambling!
My boyfriend was playing no limit texas hold-em and his parents were seeing Englebert Humperdink. I spent my time at the bar with beer, boilermakers, and knitting! I love getting weird looks for knitting... some old lady actually came up to me to compliment me but kept saying she wasn't trying to hit on me. It was pretty funny. I knitted for a few hours... was too drunk to continue so went for a walk. I found a bunch of security fellows walking quickly in one direction trying to look important.
Me: HEY! Is everything under control?
Them: uh... yeah... is everything under control with you?
I gave them the thumbs up and ran away. BACK TO THE KNITTING which I got bored of so I bound off and turned it into this. Drunken Knitting is so much more fun, no?

those 3 hats are so hot..... i heart beanies so much (great for the regrowth and bad hairdays) and the clutch/ purse is so nice... you have inspired me to go and get some pretty wool and start knitting on a whim Smiley
