I wanted to try my hand at those awesome cassette tape wallets I've seen around here (not to mention try out my dremel!). I made it for my best friend, here's the result:

I painted it gold and used brown felt for the lining.

The best-matching zipper I had at the time was pink, so I drilled holes around the edges of the tape to sew in some matching pink embroidery thread to tie the colours together.

She goes out a lot so I made sure there was a spot for her ID in the bag as well as change/whatever. I attatched a keyringclipmajig so that she could stick it on her pants and it wouldn't get stolen (she just had a coat stolen a little while ago).

Thanks for looking!

What kind of paint did you use? I made one and painted it but the paint peels off every time you touch it  Huh

Just your average cheap acrylic paint. Make sure your cassette is clean and dry first, or else the paint will just stick to the dirt and bubble off. I didn't have any issues with mine though =\
