The owl is made of some kind of coppery metal. Its really thin & flexible which is why it looks wrinkled. Unfortunately that's about as detailed as I can get. Its been in my stash for ages and wasn't in a package. There is some kind of plasticy coating on the back of it. I used a sponge to smush on some Staz-On ink over his body, then used a round stamp to kind of "remove" some of the ink for his wings. His eyes are big, chunky brads. I just realized he poor guy doesn't have a beak.

Oh thats much better, thank you - as you can tell I'm not very good with this photo business!

Thank you for the info on the copper, I hadn't realised that the 'wings' were a kind of reverse stamping, the effect is stunning.

The wing thing was an experiment that actually worked for a change.  Cheesy

GG, love the muted flow of colors you achieved with those alcohol inks. That is a great tag, and I, too, love the little birdies perched on the circles. Love the yarn you used, too.

Sarcastra, that ouiji tag is one of my most favorites ever! It is wonderful.

ARoze and Qazicat, love those owls!! Is it my imagination, or did you both use the same trim on the bottom? They look almost exactly alike to me.

I have a gorgeous nature/leaf/fall themed tag from panthermoon, but you are going to have to wait a little more to see it. I tried to get pictures but they didn't turn out well at all. I will try again this weekend.

Both tags are so unique!

Qazicat--the colors are right up my alley and the contrast is wonderful! The back is just as beautiful as the front!

Amarillysroze--I appreciate the "how to's"--so much to learn! (and buy!)...what a clever way of making the big eyes!  I love it!

I received a beautiful tag from goatgoddess yesterday that suited my Asian theme perfectly!  I feel like I got a bonus because both sides are just as wonderful!  Thanks so much!

Front--the colors are so rich!:

Back--purple is one of my favorite colors!:

I apologize for the slight blur in the pics--I just couldn't stay steady today!  Goatgoddess--if you have better pics, please post!

ha ha This tag and my first tag are happily displayed together:

How funny! I didn't even notice it, but yes, it does appear to be the same.  Cheesy

GG, absolutely beautiful asian themed tag!

Here are pics from my lovely nature/fall/leaf themed tag from panthermoon. I love the quote, the colors and especially the metal squirrel cutout on the front!
