It took me a month, but I finished the window for my craft room. This is my first ever gallery glass project, and I was inspired to do it because the Mr. and I just bought our first home! I decided to make one of the bedrooms distinctly mine Smiley

Ta da!

Thank you! It looks gorgeous when the afternoon sun hits, and it looks awesome from outside at night.

You did a wonderful job.  Must be very inspiring while crafting. I love it. I've done a couple of windows and I love the way you made some of your objects two toned. Great job!!!  Love her hair.

Thank you! I had debated whether or not I really wanted a flamey-looking fish, but then I made it and was so happy with it I had to include it. I named him Sparky.

it's beautiful, i love the mermaid.  i know very little about stained glass, so i was just wondering if you used pieces of colored glass or was this done with that stained glass paint stuff?

This was all done with Gallery Glass paints. I did her hair, body, fin, and tail all seperately. I also did the seaweed and everything else seperately, and it all came together on the window; the "water" was applied directly to the window. If you're going to try this pattern (which I got at Michael's) I would highly suggest you watch the half-hour intructional DVD it comes with. It really helped me.

It seems that different people have an idea of what I am, and what I should be. And then there's me.
