I got extremely bored yesterday, and as usual.. after surfing about on here for a little while, I got a bout of inspiration, and decided to go rummaging in my craft room for some suitable fabric to make something.. ANYTHING!

I came up with this little beaut!

And the little brooch I made for it Smiley

comments most welcome Smiley

Thanks guys Smiley

I actually got the fabric on freecycle, believe it or not.. I'm a complete sucker for freebies (I think the majority of stuff in my craft room was free!) And the second I saw the blue fabric, I knew exactly what I was going to do with it, I just never got round to it!!

I'm worried about using it incase I ruin it or something!! Tongue

That turned out nice!  I like the use of the blue stitching.  Was this pattern based or just a creation?

A bit of both really.. well.. I sort of based the main bit on a pattern I drafted for another tote I made a while back, really simple one, then just went off on one for the rest of it Tongue the fold over brown bit was an extra add-on, which I'm sure I did the most complicated way possible... hehe, but i love it!! I'm just about to go out with it now actually Cheesy

I forgot to mention, it has a sort of double pouch pocket inside too Tongue

Oh, very cute!  I love the fabric.  The fact that it was free only makes it better--the denim purse I'm carrying now is made from old jeans that were given to me, so it's free too!  Hooray for free!!!

I am an apologist for the spiders.

Just treat me no differently than you would the Tarantula Queen.
