You should make the lining water proof. That'll keep it from getting  moldy when you throw those wet towels, suits, and caps in and then forget about them all night until practice the next day when you have to put on a wet suit.

good call, i always forget to unpack and would hate to ruin this bag!

I use a second lining of ripstop between the two main, to help with moisture - it's a pain but I think it will help a lot long-term.

I have never used ripstop before... but i'm definitely going to try it out! thanks!
