the noodle princess - your yarns are beautiful!
I've heard about core spinning and after seeing your beautiful yarn I'll have to give it a try.
cloudlover - your creations both spun and dyed are gorgeous. I was so locky to have you as a partner for the fiber unicorn zombie apocalypse. Thanks again for the lovely goodies you sent me  Smiley

Cloudlover, (and other dyers) I assume that you chain the roving after it's been dyed, right?

These are all beautiful, people.  I need to experiment more with colours and stuff in my dying.
Yes- I braid them after they're all dyed and dried.  You can braid them first and then dye (that's what Jadzeea said she did with hers) and it will still work out- less cumbersome to juggle when wet!

Thanks Jane!!!  I can't wait to see what you create with them Smiley

Tazzsangel, that's really even for a first plying attempt, good job!

Thanks I really like plying, it went really fast too. I cant wait to get some more fiber so I can make longer yarn. I have no idea what to make with it yet.

I miss Fiber Fridays too! Life has finally just settled down from the big move. Roll Eyes I think my favorite this wee is Aussie Ocean. Ooooh, I hope I can dig out my camera and get some yarn on here for this Friday.
Man, I eat this place! Grin

Missed Fiber Friday too, been busy working and camping and then working.  The yarns are ghoulish.  I eat them all, but I especially eat cyprus.  I eat the roving that is green, gray, and black.  I would have never thought of that combination, but I bet it would be great spun and then knitted up.
