This is my first attempt at making something on my own, that wasn't a bag made from a pillowcase. :p

So I saw these Ninja Turtle sheets sitting at the thrift store... and every time I passed them I knew I could make something from them, but I didn't know what.  They sat there for about 2 months (I'm surprised no one bought them!) before inspiration struck! I ran out to buy them after work yesterday.... and it turned out it was only one small sheet, but luckily I had some old Ninja Turtle fabric I bought at a yard sale years ago which I tossed in the mix.  Add two flannel blankets for lining, and my first attempt at using a pattern, and you get... this!!

(I think I did alright lining up the pieces for it being my first try! Smiley)
I'm so proud of myself right now, hehehe. Cheesy I think i might add a zipper yet, for those cold winter months, but I've yet to actually get to the fabric store!

Aww, thank you both! I'm planning a fabric store run tomorrow, so I may have Aladdin and SpongeBob hoodies coming up this weekend! Wink

Wow what a great job, i can't believe that was you're first try! I'd love to make a hoodie like that with some funky fabrics i got lying around. Did you use a specific kind of pattern or did you make the pattern yourself? It's really awesome & you look adorable in it  Cheesy
