I am wondering if anyone here has any experience or knowledge about painting on clothing with acrylic paints.  Does it work as well as fabric paint?  Or does it peel and wash off faster?  I am wanting to make some t-shirts for someone I am swapping with and want to make sure the design won't disappear!

You can actually buy a bottle of 'stuff' that mixes in with acrylic paint to make it fabric safe....  it's in with the fabric paints at the store.  I'll dig around my craftroom and see if I can come up with a name for ya.

** FOUND IT!! **  It's by DecoArt and called "Fabric Painting Medium" - converts acrylics to fabric paints.

I'm guessing I got it at JoAnns or Micheals, it's the same size as a bottle of regular acrylic paint.

Good luck!!
