Yay this is so great, almost everyone has posted pics, molliemoo2883 is having some computer problems, so she'll post em when she can. Koalascout if you have any pics, you can feel free to post them for her.

Now I'm just working on an angel for TrashedClothing, and once this is all wrapped up I plan on starting discussion for round 2!

I fried up some of the lagrimitas today. They were delicious, especially when I doused them with the salsa Mirchita sent.

Just to give you an idea of how much they puff up. It's sooo cool to cook them, although I am still getting the hang of it, I burned a few.

Also, nice little trick, my boyfriend has a sweet tooth so we tossed a handful of them in powdered sugar. Was pretty tasty. Sorta reminded me of churros..

They are puffed wheat basically. LOL I know my boyfriend, took one look at them and said "I am not eating deep fried worms, I don't care what your friend says." I sorta laughed and showed him one cooked, and he tried one and ended up really liking them. However in bad news evidently I overcooked the maizena because I ended up with pudding. LOL, the joys of getting used to a new stove.
