I received!! I got a great package from Nven.

First everything together...

Some yummy fuzzy peaches and popcorn, The Mummy part 1 AND 2 (I am a lucky girl) and two cute figures from the movie.

Close up of the dolls...so cute! Are the tiny guns handmade?

Thanks so much Nven! I love everything.

LOL
I had a nightmare story with a postal worker too, he works at the postal office and I noticed that he was flirting a couple of times I went to send packages, and the last time, I went to ask for a box (from NerdyCrochetGal too!) he said that the box wasnt arrived yet, and it probably were stucked at costums, so he offers to make a call there and see why they didnt send it to me, and asked my tel number to tell me if he has any news about it, so I (and my partner) were about TWO WEEKS worried for it, and making calls, and rides to the postal office to see what happens, and the stupid guy were calling to my house almost everyday!! first to tell me some lie about the package, and then started to call "just to say hello"  Shocked the worst was when he called and my husband answered the phone, and he ends the call and call again later  Undecided you can imagine how my husband was about it, but I asked him that were not rude, because "I like to have a nice relationship with postal workers who take care of my swap goods "  Undecided so I ended asking for help to a friend who works in something about postage, and he called to the costums in Mexico D.F.  many times until they searched for my box, and told him that they have sent it about a month ago!!!! My box has been at the postal office all the time!!!  Angry when I went to pick it up, I almost wanted to kill the stupid guy, but I was so excited for my box that didnt say much to him, anyway, I dont think I can do much about it, and he would still be the link between me and my swap treasures  Cry

(sorry for the bad english)

First of all KidwithKemikals, that is sort of creepy. LOL. Gotta love people like that, but at least he was showing an interest in your crafts.. I suppose. Ugh, I don't know if that makes it better, or creepier.

Oh and Mirchita, I completely remember that!! I think that postal guy was just really lonely and working too many hours in the post office.. Although if he holds your package hostage again I am going to be forced to fly down there and kick his butt.

Aquamarine, that is an awesome package. Nven those amigurumis are so cute!

Btw, just a reminder PM me when you receive so I can update your partners status and start handing out the feedback!!!

KidwithKemikals:  I have a creepy postal worker too!  Only he's mean and abrasive instead of flirty.  One time he told me that I had too much tape on my package (which is total BS it was a completely normal amount of tape) and that it made it look like a bomb and so he made me open it, show him that it was in fact a highly dangerous quilt block and then he made me repackage it.  Oh, I was so mad!

Ahhhh!! I'm so happy with this swap. I received an awesome package from Sugaree today!
The movie: The Big Lebowski
Group shot:

Sugaree is so creative and clever!  The tape pouch:

It says "Venice Beach League Playoffs 1987" on one side and "Creedence" on the other.  The case for it has a "playlist" made up of quotes from the movie, and the last one points to the scene in the movie the tape is from: it's the tape that was in his car that gets stolen, ha! Love it!
Inside the tape case were these magnets:

These are so perfect for the movie! My favorite (though I can't decide, really) says "Little Lebowski Urban Acheiver"

Sugaree wins, this was such a great swap and a perfect package, thank you!  Grin

thanks!  you know at first, i had no clue what craft to make for this movie, but i knew i wanted to send this one because a) my partner loves it and b) it's my favorite movie
so, i thought and thought, and then it suddenly came to me to make a pouch out of the stolen creedence tape.  even i'm still impressed with that idea Smiley

this swap was so much fun!  thank you elisegreene for being a kickass partner and thank you nerdycrochetgal for organizing!!!
