The dress is red carpet worthy.  It is unique and very stylish.  You should try to get on Project Runway with being able to dream up and then stitch up such a lovely garment.

I admit it, I sighed longingly whist looking at that dress. its gorgeous! I wish I still had occasions to wear floor lengths to.....I would have worn that to a prom (oh so long ago they seem.....)  wonderful job! looooove it!

The dress is red carpet worthy. 
 

I was just thinking that this dress screams Bob-Mackey's-design-on-Cher-but-not-so-overdone. Very beautiful, but very hard to wear.

If I had access to more of that $1 a yard stretch fabric, I might also consider the convertible dress which other figure types can wear and which has excited a lot of interest here on Craftster http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=104089.0. Talk about Fun With Stretch Fabric!
