i love it too!  my friends always say "i know you made that" but they say it's because it "looks like me".... its so very my taste that theres no way anyone mass-produced it.  which is awesome... like your bag!

But I guess, if you would have wanted it to look store bought, wouldn't you have just went ahead and get one at a store?

Very pretty bag!  I too like the scallop stitch.  I used it on a dress I made for my daughter just for a decorative touch.  Keep posting all your stuff!!

Gorgeous bag, yay-it*s_tanya! I have a question for you: did you double or triple up the outside fabric? I ask because I've also found some beautiful sheets that I'd like to use to make purses/bags, but I'm always afraid the fabric will be too thin and will rip easily. Although, I guess the inside fabric is the only one that really needs to be thick?

I've only made one purse so far, and it was from scrap fabric which happened to be really thick...

Anyway, amazing job!

I got the idea from a bag i saw on here a while ago but i can't find the link. I didn't follow a tutorial but if you want me to, I can tell you the measurements of the pattern pieces I made.
