I've lived in Hutch for a while now and have not once been to the salt museum.  I'll have to go.  And we are definately on for a craft-in!! That would be awesome because I can't find too many other people around here who love embroidery!!  After the Hutch craft-in we'll have to go have a Topeka session!

You must go to the salt museum.  It's always cool to go 28,000 feet under ground.  I'm even wearing my t-shirt from it right now.   

And we're on-- the library director I was there with adored me and said next year they're bringing me back in, so we'll have a night of crafting or something.  That would be a blast!

Hey!  I just realized you're from Austin!  I used to live there a few years ago.  I looooved it and once my husband graduates we plan on moving back!  We'll have to continue the crafting tradition!

Sadly, I don't get to hang in the library.  I hang in the administration offices in South Hutch.  Can you say bad 1970s wood paneling?  But their bathrooms are hilarious-- they have tacky border wallpaper of antique books. 

Yes, when you move back to Austin we can totally have a groovy crafty thing.  I'd love to have an Austin Craftster group-- there must be bunches of us that just don't know each other!

Oh! Santacruzsugar, i had a craftster dream last night!  But it was about another swap. 

I'm finished with one tea towel, in progress on the rest.  Of course I finished the easy one first - now for the tough stuff!

I had a major score today!

I was at Half Price Books (our local used/bargain book chain) and found a book of 400 embroidery stitch patterns for $7.

It's too bad I'm done with my towels!

Just got home last night from Cincinnati (8 hour trip by car). I've been away since last Wednesday because of a death in the family.

Now I need to get caught up on the last couple of pages of posts and see what you guys have been talking about! Also need to get started on my 2nd tea towel. I feel sooooo behind.
