Me me me!! Uploading and PM'ing to do first, but reserving my spot! I have a great package to kick things off with Cheesy
___________________ ___________________ ___________________ ____________

I received from Littlebluegirl today

Local -

Littlebluegirl is from Liverpool so she sent some yummy-smelling Beatles-themed soap!

Flexible -

A covered tape measure! Sorry the colour's not great in this pic, it's actually a beautiful eggplanty purple, with a mother of pearl button.

Blue -

100% baby llama wool, which is honestly the softest thing I've ever felt. The boyfriend is less than interested in wool, but even he said "ooh, soft" Cheesy
I've recently joined Ravelry, so I'm going to find some recommended patterns for this yarn.

Squishy -

I'd been moaning talking to Littlebluegirl about how much I love cableknit, but can't get my crocheter's brain around it. She made me a perfect cableknit mug cosy, which I may claim to have made myself if anyone asks Wink

Sender's choice -

A light-up crochet hook with a lovely chunky easy-on-the-hands grip.

Unusual -

The prettiest shade of purple yarn, made from 100% CORN FIBRE!
It feels lovely - very smooth and similar to cotton. Now I know why you wanted to keep this when it arrived! I promise to do something great with it Smiley

'C' is for crochet hook case!

The outside is black and velvety, the inside is this beautiful purple and olive green fabric, and it ties with a huge dark green satin ribbon. It's absolutely perfect. And it was full of hooks!

This was a great, very thoughtful package and I'm so grateful - thanks Littlebluegirl!

Photobucket and I have worked it out so I am able to post pics of the awesomely awesomeness that I recieved from maiziemama.
This is what the package looked like before I dug into it, everything is wrapped in beautiful fabric:

The UNUSUAL, some handspun "crazy waves" art yarn:

The SQUISHY, beautiful handspun superwash merino, and the LOCAL, salve from her neighbors farm:

FLEXIBLE, measuring tape(I almost bought her measuring tape for this category but opted against it):

BLUE, a lavender sachet:

"C", a lavender chocolate bar(YUMMMMM):

And last but not least the SENDER'S CHOICE, a spinning kit w/ brown merino roving, a top whorl spindle and a how-to book:

Everything is soooo wonderful.  I am so happy with my package and my partner, she's the best!!
Thanks maiziemama, you rock!!!

I thought that I would be the first

Sorry Sad
If it helps, I'm now desperately trying to finish my package and make it as good as what I just got - early partners make me more anxious!

*sigh* swap anxiety now setting in (as if it hadn't already started).  That is a great package.  I definitely covet the baby llama wool yarn.

Those handspun yarns are beautiful, and the spinning kit is a lovely idea Smiley
