I would like to decorate a tote bag(probably canvas) with vintage images.  Other than scanning and printing an iron on, is there a way to take an image from a book/card/etc. and put it on the fabric permanently?

If you just look through all the posts on this image reproduction board, you will find tons of ideas and techniques. Just take the time to look, and your questions will be answered.
