I have finally photographed the dresses i have been making my girl the last few months.

First up, this is the only one I used a pattern for (New Look 6613)  This was my firts time using a commercially drafted pattern.  I make up my own usually.  I think it was really easy to use.  It took only a few hours to make and that inculdes adding the sash which was not part of the pattern.  I snagged the fabric on sale for only $1.50/yd and used 1 1/2 yds so this was a cheap dress!

The next dress started out as this (4 xl women's tees):

and I ended up with this:

(She thinks she's professional dancer... lol)

This is my Cheytown dress:

CLose-up:

And the last one was inspired by a Gap dress I saw last summer.  I started this last summer and finally pulled it out of the UFO pile a month ago.

So that's everything!

Very nice dresses!  I  might have to steal that t-shirt dress idea from you - it's very cute, and my dd really likes soft and snuggly clothing.  Great work!

Great dresses!  I love what you did with those t-shirts.  That looks like a very comfy dress for her.  She is great model, too.  What a cutie! Smiley

Love that t-shirt dress! It looks super comfy! Did you use a pattern for bodice/sleeves?
