This is by far my favorite tote I've made. It's 13X14 red canvas. It's fully lined with red polka dot fabric. It has two huge compartments so that books and my sketch book don't get mixed up with my cell phone and my keys!! It was super easy to make and I'm just in love with it Cheesy

i need to make a bag with separate compartments, it's such a good idea! Just tonight, my dad gave me his credit card to go get gas(i swear i normally pay for my own, but there is a hurricane coming! Tongue), and i dropped it my purse. But i could NOT find it anywhere at the gas station! Low and behold, it was stuck inside the pages of my sketch/idea notebook!

thanks for the inspiration!! Cheesy

Did you pre-wash your fabric before you made your bag? I am getting ready to make something like your bag and want to make sure that it won't mess up the lining if it is washed. I have blue duckcloth...

no, I didn't pre wash this fabric, but I normally do. I'm a little bit worried about the red running onto the white. So i'd say wash it first in case of color running.
