when i was pregnant with my 1st child all i did was make quilts for my soon to be baby. with my 2nd child i made a couple that were for a boy but not even half of what i made my 1st. so when i was pregnant with my third i made . . . NONE! i'm such a bad mom! so for her first birthday (sept 27) i made her a very special quilt straight from my heart. i used a basic 6'' heart block with a 2' and 6' border. this will go on her toddler bed. its not quilted yet as i am taking it to a lady to be quilted on a longarm (bad bad mom i know) here is a special quilt for my special baby

i will post a finished pic when i get it back from the quilter

It is a terrific quilt - I have always been a sucker for hearts.

P.S.  Don't scold  yourself for being too busy/exhausted to sew all those quilts - you were spending time with your kids - the best gift of all!

I love the colors and the hearts.

I have made 2 quilts already for my daughter and a third in my head I can't wait to make. i am not pregnant yet, but I am sure if there are more children in my future they will not have as many quilts as she does.

I love heart quilts. I have made several using different patterns.  This one is especially sweet. Love the pinks!
