At our poor organizer's request (hope your computer gets fixed soon!), I am posting the earrings I made for her in this swap.
PS- She mentioned Red was her favorite color...
Here they all are on a black backgroung and a white background:
My first attempt to do the shrinky-dink thing with the plastic tray in a bag of Keebler Cookies. Boy that stuff shrinks!
Findings from the craft store. These were initially only one pair, but rather long (about 5 inches), so I broke them down into two pairs.
This is what I made with paper beads, after seeing that lovely bracelet some other craftster did. I've made a couple hundred of these, and have plans for loads of jewelry!
Another idea from a craftster posting - I love CDs!
I had hit a yard sale and found a triple-strand of variouse shades of blue and green glass beads. The whole thing was hideous and weighed a ton, but it came apart quite easily...
Last, but not least, my faves. I love painting earrings! I find little wooden shapes like one of those beaded car seats, or one of those 3-D skeleton models, or even just your basic craft store stuff, and let my brush go where it may. I'll be posting more painted earrings in a week or so - I have about 45 pair I'm doing for a craft sale.
I hope buckeyebeadgirl enjoys wearing these as much as I had making them for her (and myself - I liked some of hers so much I made some for myself)!
