I came across a contest on DeviantArt with a very simple theme: purple! I'd already made a pair of earrings last night that I really liked that fit, and I decided to make a choker to match:

The choker is made of accu-flex wire; a genuine cloisonne dragonfly pendant with articulated tail; lip shell; glass beads; glass faux-pearls; irregular cultured pearls; silver daisy spacer beads; and a swirled antiqued silver toggle clasp.

It's my second necklace, and as always, I'm grateful for feedback and suggestions!

This is very nice. Can you tell us where you found the dragonfly? It really makes a great statement!

Thank you!

I got it at Firemountain Gems. I was ordering one to make something for a friend who loves both purple and dragonflies, and got a second to experiment with!
