Damn. These are incredible.  Shocked Marilyn looks like she's trying to seduce me.  That's quite a feat in cross stitch. Smiley

You have an amazing talent!

Bettie ROCKS!  The others do too... Love the choice of colors instead of just black/white/grays... nice... (I have no patience for cross-stitch, I'll stick to embroidery, you on the other hand... WUENDERBAR!)

Human rights are for EVERYONE.  Did you know that Aung San Suu Kyi had been released from house arrest in Burma? Many other prisoners of conscience are still being detained.  Please research this topic... Amnesty International needs your help.

thank you all!

the bettie was just kind of a practice run-- i think i'm going to do a bigger one of her in one of her classic poses-- if you bettie fans have a favorite to suggest, please feel free to post me a link to the picture you think would be good.

right now i'm working on the classic steve mcqueen photo where he's got the cigarette hanging out of his mouth.

i love doing portraits of people smoking-- next smoker i'm going to tackle is joe strummer.

(piture is huge so i'm not posting.... http://www.iffkv.cz/image/8191-joe-strummer-the-future-is-unwritten.jpg)

i've also done david sedaris smoking, which you can see on my portraits page on my website gallery at www.beelisty.com/portraits.html
