Melyssa_Marie!!!! Oh my God I just saw the picture of my tree a minute ago!  It is sooo beautiful!  I love how you used the metallic thread and the ornaments are adorable!  Thank you so much!  I hope you like what I did on your towel.  I'm going to post pics of it tomorrow for you!

here is what I stitched on 1boy1girl1kitty2 towel. She stitched "friendship" as her design... As i was looking through flickr I kept on stopping on these little guys.... how ironic is a friendship between a cat and fish... I think its so cute!! for some reason every time I iron my work it makes the stitches crooked... I am so MAD! i made extra sure to make the bowl as perfect as possible! maybe Ill take a look at it before I send it tomorrow.

here is the whole towel

sorry for the horrible photos I was in a hurry!

Great work going on here Wink

As to things changing when you iron them one recommendation I have to offer is iron from the back with steam and then touch up from the front if necessary.

Sometimes it's the fault of the fabric - loose weave and lighter fabrics don't always take well to taut stitching.  This means in order to get them to lay nicely you have to not pull your stitches super tight.  To accomplish this I try to keep the fabric looser on the hoop but in all honesty I find it really hard to get the tension right on these types of fabrics so I try to avoid them.

BrookOwens, the design is adorable and your stitching looks great!! ~ another towel that's really shaping up beautifully!

ThirdMargaret, i googled this sketch and added color and cupcake-ness.  Cheesy

~ after making sure it's safe to post a pic of the apron altogether without ruining the surprise for Sewsew's little girl, here it goes:
