when my mum got her cataracts done she really liked seeing details again like all the leaves in the trees and stuff.  also she was amazed at how different her watercolors and crafts projects looked when she could actually see them well.

Prepare Yourselves for most excellent tininess!
I should have posted right when I got this box last week- I have myriad excuses, but I don't want to waste time, what CamOovas made for me was all so wonderful and perfect. It really deserves to be admired and is all hand made! All the miniatures are traditional dollhouse 1" to 1' scale- the detail and craftsmanship is out of this world.

This is my lovely Bunny, so CamOovas made me a wee needle felted version

She made Bunny a little home too, replete with a tiny bag of pine chips and a tiny bag of rabbit poop (for the life of me I couldn't get the bag to photograph- I love the minuscule turds too much to take out and lose!) also a bowl and carrot to munch! The whole box is about the size of a saltine.

She made a tiny wooden jewelry box with working, lined drawers. One drawer had a few bars of soap inside. It is so small! Smaller than a book of matches and much more delicate.


She made a crate, and some grapes

Two loaves of bread, with a purchased knife and plate, and a basket of rolls


And a table for everything to go on!

I took these pictures in my dollhouse scale theater, and I am sorry if they are a little blurry! Everything was wonderful and generous! I hope you enjoy yours, CamOovas and that we can swap some other time!

(I told her I have been looking for tanks/cages to make little scenes in, these are to disassemble.  Jessarama, how did you disassemble yours, did you microwave it first or something?  I can't pull them apart!)

I dont know if i have ever seen such neat things at my dollar store. I really like the aquariums! especially the goldfish tank!
And Jessarama, did you make the moose head?

I got a cheap plastic moose, and cut his head off, flocked and mounted him. I then felt bad about my barbarism, so I filled the diary with the story of his life as a magical, immortal moose- head! I really like the idea of a foam core dollhouse. It was a challenge to get the aquarium apart. I just gently hacked at it with my exacto!
