The Cutest Skirt Ever!!!

So I needed something a little different to sew after going on an A-Line Dress bindge... 3 Sleeved Dresses, 2 Sleeveless Jumpers and 2 Pairs of Pants...  whew...  So I went perusing the internet for something fun to make for my daughter and found this.

Viola!

 

I used a ribbon drawstring instead of elastic and just some fabric from my stash(I've been saving this paisley for something special...).  My first time making anything ruffly...  Super easy tute if you're wanting one for your own little one... or yourself.

I just tried the Grand Revival tute the other day and loved it.  Yours is just adorable!  Do I recognize that second fabric from Wal-Mart?  I think I just bought some of that the other day.  Since WM is about to do away with all of their fabric depts., I was grabbing the stuff I loved before it disappeared.  I digress...     Both outfits are great!!
