so I'm sitting at home on a lovely afternoon...and I think "hey, I need a new skirt...and my husband could use one less T-shirt"

so I snagged up, and sewed up this beauty: (that youngster is supposed to be in bed for a nap! BUSTED!)

Side/Back shot

I'm a little upset that the "viva la" got cut off....but c'est la vie, no? Smiley

Thank you! it is, indeed, super comfy! I wish that I could say that I stenciled this beast, but it's actually a shirt from thinkgeek.com

check them out, they have some of the best t-shirts EVER!  Grin

I simply cut the sleeves off, then cut straight across the top, right above the graphic.
then I cut it down the sides, so I could resize it to fit me.
I had some stretchy black fabric lying around, so I took my waist measurement, and took about an inch off of it, so that it would stay up!  Cheesy
Then I sewed up the sides, connected the waistband to the top (with the waist band seam being at center back) and VOILA! super fast skirt.

sorry if that didn't make sense...I'm def. not the best teacher.  Grin
