OK, so I decided to make my niece some more dresses before the summer is over and use up some of my light weight fabric. And then I thought how cute would it be to make matching dolly dresses to go with them. Well in my brain I thought 1/4 the size, 1/4 the work right? WRONG!! It took me just as long to make the dolly dresses as it did to make the full size dresses. Anyhoo... not such great action pics but my sister said she did the best she could... My niece is the dark haired little one (Gabbie) and the blond is her little friend.

Those are so adorable! I'm going to be making some matching dresses for my daughter's dolls soon too - but she wants them to have one's like her favorite twirly dresses... so we shall see!
I love those fabrics - you did a great job!

I really need to make my daughter's doll a matching outfit before the dreaded day comes that she tells me she's too old to play with dolls (at around 15 right?)

Too adorable!  Great job on the matching dresses.

Yeah, just because it's small it doesn't mean it's less work.  I think it is harder because it is so small trying to get those seams to work.
