I am getting married on November 1st (the day draws near!), and I am knitting my bouquet.  I've just now finished my first flower, though I started it in...June I think.  I used the Noni Peony pattern.  At first I thought that this was a really strange pattern, but then I realized though it is strange, it's BRILLIANT!  I love how the flower turned out.  It looks to me like a tuft of cotton, only a lot bigger.

Whatcha think?  Have any of you knit your bouquets?  Do you have any great ideas?  Thanks for the looksy.

its gorgeous! I have only crocheted flowers, and I know it is very time consuming if you want to look as pretty as yours, is all the bouquet of the same flower pattern? I think it would be very cute  Smiley
congratulations for your wedding and good luck with the rest of the flowers!

I would have never thought of knitting a bouquet, but I think it's a brilliant idea.  Another fun idea would be, if you have some knitty friends, is to have each of them knit a flower to contribute to it.

Thank you all for your comments!
Actually Retromiad, when I have my bridal shower, everyone is going to make a flower.  We are going to have crocheters, knitters, and needle felters.  We even thought of the people who can't do any of those things and bought paper flower patterns.
I am not going to have people make these flowers for my bouquet though because they all range in quality  Undecided, so we are going to have them as decorations on the tables and throughout the area.  I'm so excited!

Amazing. Peonies are one of my favourites :3

If all our life is but a dream, fantastic posing greed
Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea
For diamonds do appear to be
Just like broken glass to me.
