Hey all,

I'm wondering if anybody knows of a good place to find solid-print, fingering-weight yarn for under $5 a skein.

How large a skein? RH has some new sock yarn out for $4.99/ 50 gms, but you need 2 for a pair of socks. Lion also has SockEase for $9.99/ 100 gms, only one for a pair. Both of these can be bought at Hobby Lobby, Joanns and Michael's so you can use 40% off coupons on them. Knitpicks has sock yarn for $3.50 - $5.29 for a 50 gm ball.

I think KnitPicks is your best bet.
