Hi,
I had to make a dress for my brother's wedding, in the Philippines:) so I used a cool cotton and a knit for the belt.
I used an old top for the base of the pattern. It also has side pockets since I always carry so much stuff.

and of course I needed a swimsuit for the beach. I traced my old halter bikini and reused the bra pads to get the same fit. I highly recommend making swimsuits-the cost of the materials is so inexpensive compared to getting a store bought one.

Thanks again for looking.

Pretty dress and really cute bikini. I envy those who make their own swimsuits. (not that I have the body for one anymore) Great job and enjoy the wedding!

Nicely done, I love that dress! I like that the sleeves are smaller than most kimono dresses (it just seems more wearable this way). The cut and pattern is so cute!

I love the shape of the dress ( I think it would be super cute with some brightly colored shoes, maybe yellow or red) and the bikini is mondo adorable.

Oh, it's just kittens.

I want to leave this world the way I came into it:  naked, screaming, and covered in someone else's blood.
