I'm going back to school this fall after 6 years of being out of high school, I decided that since my major is art, that it wouldn't make too much sense to be an art student and not make my own bag.
So, I searched far and wide (not really) on here and found this tut: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=182863.0
I messed up my measurements on the flap so I added the buttons on either side to make sure it stayed closed and I think it ended up adding that extra little bit it needed, so I dig them.
This thing holds a LOt of stuff, there's 9 old reader's digest books in there!
anyway, enough blabbing, on to pictures!
(excuse the disarray that is my table.)

There's some messups on it, but ah well.  I figure it'll hold up for a while and if not, I do have a sewing machine Wink

If I could buy the world a coke, then I would say "SCREW YOU WORLD" and go buy more fabric.

that looks good. i think that will hold up to your art books (if you have any) or it can always hold your art supplies.

Good Job....  If you decide to make another one.  Here is a great tutorial.  It is soooo easy and turns out so nice.
