My friend wanted me to copy an existing top of hers..
It took me quite a bit of time due to the french seams and bias facings (both of which I had never done before) but it was a good learning experience

here's the finished project..quite pleased with how it turned out!!! (obligatory mirror shots)




it's made with shantung silk, and the neckline is just a foldover of the blouse top

i look rather pregnant in the pics, don't i? (I'm not!!!)

the pics work now...great top..

I find so hard to make tops, especialy in non stretchy materials cause they dont' stretch funnily enought :-)

good work, looks real nice..
