I want make a one-strap empire-waist dress much like this: http://builtbywendy.com/onlineshop/cart.php?target=product&product_id=17077&category_id=330 for my cousin's wedding. Obviously, the skirt is pretty straightforward. I'm just not completely sure how to make the bodice. I've tried to find a similar pattern, but I can't. Ideas? Suggestions? Any help is appreciated!

I drew this up on paint so this isnt exactly proportionate. You'll have to draw the pattern out on newspaper or something, don't just print it out and make it from this. Make sure to make the second piece a couple inches longer than the first to make room for the basting. Hope this helps. (you might have to save it or something to see it in the full size and be able to read the words.)
