kimmasaurus, your apron is so cute. I think I have some of that fabric. If it's not the same it's very similar.

I actually made it for kimmasaurus out of a vintage pillow case Smiley  I am uploading pics of the apron she made me right now!

lol, yep that's what I have too. I found it last year at a thift store when I went home to AZ to see my family last summer.  I love it!!

christinacoghill, cute apron. I really like the green lace and that it brings the leaves out.

Hi, y'all--

What a great bunch of aprons have been posted in the past day or two!  I *cannot* wait for Round 2!

Sorry I've been absent the last few days-- it's been super-busy here what with one thing and another.  I have a client coming to pick up work from me on Monday and I'm chained to my workbench trying to crank it out for her.  I'll get everyone's feedback and statuses updated in the next few days, I promise!

Thanks for being so patient with me!

kimmasaurus, how pretty! You have a mirror in your kitchen?

yep!  well... it's a giant mirror in the dining room, which is open to the kitchen... so it's like one big room w/a dining table lol

kimmasaurus that is a really cute apron. I love the lace ruffle.

AHH! I have a mirror across from my little kitchen, too! It makes my small dining room/kitchen area look lots bigger and it's handy-dandy for making sure I don't have spinach in my teeth when I'm done eating.  Grin

Hee hee!

My house is as mirror free as possible (as in mirrors in the two bathrooms and that's it) so that I don't have to look at myself.

What I hate more than anything is going to the Pilates studio that's all mirrored and having to look at myself sweating.

hahahahah, my mirror is like, enormous!! i love it!  there's a giant window on the wall next to the mirror so it lets the light bounce around and makes my tiny kitchen/diningroom combo look huge!

Okay, ladies--

Everybody's apron has arrived.  Hooray!  We have a couple of people waiting to post pictures (I know Craftrica is having internet connection problems), but everyone should now have feedback.  Please check your profiles, okay?

Thanks to everyone for making this a super fun swap!  I can't wait for BrookOwens to start the next round!!!

I love the apple, too, evilSabina and Craftrica, what a wonderful apron! The back looks challenging to this novice, I purposely stayed away from patterns like that, you're a brave soul.

My sister gave me an apron as a gift on my twin daughters' birthday last month...she's always doing thoughtful stuff like that! Anyway, she bought it because of the way the neck is done so we can use it as a pattern. The tie is encased along the side and runs up around the neck and down the other side, so it's adjustable! It'll be fun to figure it out, looks pretty easy, though, even for me. The style may be a new-to-me thing, but if anyone in interested in seeing photos, let me know and I'll take a few and post 'em on my Flickr.

Thanks to everyone for making this a super fun swap!  I can't wait for BrookOwens to start the next round!!!

No! Thank YOUUUUUUUUUUU, elvissatx, for being THE perfect hostess with the mostess!
