How pretty! I just picked up a runner like that and can't wait to turn it into an apron. You did a fine job, christinacoghill, it's adorable!

I agree, elvissatx, mine is different too because I made it to my partner's liking...I hope. That's one of the fun things about swaps, seeing what people do with a theme. It's neat to see everyone's version of the same idea.

That's gorgeous! I love 'tea' style aprons, anyhow. Are the flowers embroidered? The colors are so pretty - reminds me of spring time.

I loove that apron! it's so sweet, I love the flowers, they make me happy.

I'm sending mine out in about 30 minutes, and it's all packed up and adressed and I went to take pictures this morning to find that all my batteries are dead.
yey.

I hope my girl has a camera!

I have a camera so I will definitely post pics  Smiley From what you have described so far it sounds pretty awesome.
I should be able so send your apron off tommorow. I am getting a little nervous about sending. How could I possibly live up to the blue ribbon apron!

That is beautiful apron that you made christinacoghill. I love the embroidery on it. Did you use vintage linens?

Hehe, I know I threw out a couple things to throw you off, but I loved that apron I made. I modeled it after a big trend in the era you like. ( HAHA! Now was that to thrw you off or is that a real description!??!?!)

I think you'll dig it, and I think you'll dig all the other stuff I sent too.
Oh yeah, my husband wrote you a pretty note on the box.

YAYY APRONS.

YAY! Pictures... I've got Pictures!

Lets start with the action shots first!

So when I saw these three images they just screamed Wonder Woman... well if Wonder Woman was domesticated and 5'2" Wink

I'm going to Burning Man. And my take on this years theme of the 'American Dream' is an homage to our military. So this pic is in that spirit  Smiley

Okay and this one is just plain Cheesy!  Cheesy

And last but not least... Love the full skirt... more to use when I'm creating a mes... er I mean a masterpiece in the kitchen  Kiss

Thanks elvissatx  I HEART my apron... so now that everyone can see what the apron looks like they can help you pick a name  Grin

I'm so happy to see pictures of it in its natural habitat!

I was worried, because it's a very strong statement, but you wear it well!  I hope it plays at Burning Man.

Yes, now everybody come up with names.

Hooray!  This is the best part of a swap-- having someone receive what you made!
