Made this skirt from Butterick 5042...it's my third skirt and I'm really happy with the results. First time using linen too, which worked perfectly for the skirt. Very swirly twirly. Was listening to U2 while sewing. Enjoy and thanks for looking!

That skirt looks really cute. I love the seams on it; I think I'm going to have to go out and buy that pattern.

thanks! I do recommend buying extra fabric...I used about 1/4-1/2yd extra than what the pattern called for because the cut outs were so funky. But I definitely recommend the pattern.
