What a fun idea!

I'm going to have to find a cute cheap umbrella to do this with. I'm bummed I didn't see something like this while I was living in Japan, umbrellas are more expensive and harder to come by in the dessert of the southwestern us.

yay! ViolentJayne, thanks for the link, those are AWESOME! I can't believe you think my skirt is cuter than them, but anyway, it's an even better compliment now I know what they look like.THANKS!!!

this is wicked awesome, thanks for the tute! i was wondering if the skirt traps heat (kinda like raincoats do)? that will look quite weird if there was those sweat droplets on the inside...  Embarrassed

haha...good question. I don't think it does...at least it hasn't so far for me...it's lighter than a raincoat and there's more, erm, air circulation than for a raincoat =)
