Check one more off the list. I went down to my mailbox this evening and found my prize. The illuminated drawing with 23K gold! Pics coming tomorrow. Cheesy

That owl sleep mask is a hoot! Wink I might have to make one! And, those nesting bowls are awesome. I would have loved them, but since I guessed that the odds were against it, I already bought an Embellish Knit and some wool yarn to try making a couple of my own.

amybarnett, did you just whipstitch the coils together before you felted them? And, did you use a form to get the right shape after they were felted?

Yup, just a simple whipstitch and put them for 2 cycles in the wash (hot, and agitate only-no spin cycle) I didn't use a form but they were really easy to shape as I went. They ended up being very thick and didn't need to sit on top of anything as they were drying. Just make sure they fit inside of each other.

If you use the embelish knit with thicker yarn you have to add more weight at the end of the cord and absolutely NO tension on the yarn. Good luck! They are really fun to make.

Mandylikespie: Thats so funny because I made Darla wear the green one as a hat, too!

Thanks amybarnett! I appreciate the info. I'll be giving it a go in the next couple of weeks, I think!

And, that pincushion is so cute! I really do need to dig out my stash of felt...

YAY!  Only a few items left out there to get to their new homes, I'm so excited!  I'm glad the drawing has worked out for everyone both of these rounds, I get worried too as the organizer and raffle drawer that someone will not like the 'prize' drawn for them Sad  So far no issues with that it seems!

There is actually one person that has not sent out yet, I heard back from her in response to my PM on 8/19 that she had not send and unfortunately I have not heard back from her since then...I am getting worried, but just sent another PM and hope to have a response on it later today as she is likely at work with no access to Craftster until back home...I hope I don't have to find an angel, but if I do...is anyone here interested in being an angel for a 2nd partner on something blue??  PM me if you are so I can keep you in mind if I have to start that search Smiley
