The item that I would have most liked to receive hasn't shown up here yet, though. Where's that retro bag at? It's getting wisted!

Ooooh!  I'm flattered!  I've never beeen wisted before!  If you sew, it's a tremendously simple bag to make, and the pattern is free on the Butterick website.

And it's been at it's recipient's house for nigh on to a week, I think.  Just waiting for pictures to be posted.  I can't wait to see it in its new home!

I made one of those bags, elvissatx Smiley  I HAD to as it was likely that it would not come to my home with everything else up for grabs.

Here is mine, not a shade of blue, but cool nonetheless.  Posted it in the completed projects, or rather I will be shortly, just wanted to share with you guys Smiley

LOVE LOVE LOVE this fabric!!!!  Reconed into a retro tie bag from a 70s vintage butterfly print dress Smiley

PERFECTLY matching zipper!!!  I could NOT believe my luck when I got this zipper in a bag of misc craft stuff at the thrift, it HAD to be in this purse immediately!

Yay! I am glad to see my items have arrived safely in their new home! I like the idea of the bag charm brightening up crime scenes  Cheesy

And here at last is the pic of my lovely coasters and cards sent by gkswife - also the cool postcard with bunches of chillis Smiley

Thank you gkswife, they are really nice!

This was a great swap and it seems everyone is very happy with their prizes - I'm looking forward to the next round!

this swap was fun, I think everyone did a great job on crafting and that everyone managed to add a bit of personal flavor for their receiving partners! TheSapphireMoon - wonderful swap!

Thanks, elvissatx Smiley  Oh, and here is yours, posted in the regular thread by bhean, so I am reposting here for her Smiley

HI all!!! I just got back from camping and I finally got to post the pic of my gorgeous bag from elvissatx!  Here is it with the sweet blue doily that she included as well.  My daughter has snagged it for her all blue room:

Thank you so much!

thought I would give everyone a chuckle, LOL!

My DH just last night finally noticed that the lovely blue and green painting that dropdeadjen sent me which is on the bathroom wall where the old broken beat up clock used to be, LOL!

It is much better than the former occupant of that space, and he wanted to know "how much did I pay for that, now?" I just smiled and said "swap package" and he shook his head and walked away, LOL!

thanks again Jen!

I just found out about this site and am so jealous I didn't find it earlier. Maybe then I would have had the chance to receive such a great bag, and I love doilies. Doily making is sadly becoming a lost art. Great Job! Grin
