Not sure if this is the place to post loom knitting.  But, I'm just learning.

After trying finger weaving and "knit picking" (see:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=261765.0), I wanted to knit round, so I made a diy loom out of my daughters pencils.  We made 2 really quick hat and scarf sets for her dolls on 14 pencils.

I'm currently looking at making a bigger adjustable round loom out of BIC pens.  I also thought about tying combs together to make a round loom.  I will share the results if I am successful.

Yep it's the right place! Genious way to make a loom I'm going to have to share with my grandmother. She's looking for things like that to keep the cousins occupied. Smiley

Cute finished items too. You can make a loom with an empty (clean) fruit can and bobby pins or nails too. Oh the possibilities are endless!
I've been saving this giant embriodery hoop my mom gave me to use with bobby pins and make a small gauge loom with. One day....

Edited to add: When you make the one with pens we want to see it:
