Having seen this bag, http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=259870.0
and the one that inspired it, I decided to have a go. I'm not that great at crochet, and I tend to make it up as I go along, but I think it came out well.

I had to hand sew the lining, which I made out of an old shirt.

What do you think?

Great idea on the shirt - I would have never thought of that but you have ready-made pockets for cell phone, ipod, etc. That will go into my idea box - thanks.

It's a big ball of aran I think, can't remember, I have had it for ages. I used the shirt for the pockets, I had no fabric, the shirt was dead, and there was no way I was hand stitching pockets!

You did a great job on that purse.  I love the idea of repurposing a shirt and making it really work for you.
