.. but with a modern twist. I know lots of these aprons have been posted before. I just had to try the pattern, especially as straw-holder posted the link to the free version (http://www.susanbranch.com/shopping/shop5-07/aprontest.pdf)


just plain, without printing

As I already have enough aprons, a friend had to be the victim of my sewing madness. She picked out the colors. orange+black-> chemical warnings. I could not resist to try my first attempt at stencilling, she helped.

close up of the print in all its smudgy glory. "reizend" means both adorable and irritant in German. So be careful when she is cooking while you are around Wink.

I really was looking for a project to use my new bias tape binder-foot for my sewing machine. It was so much fun, even though I had to cut all the bands (did not cut them on bias, which would have been better, but oh well...)

First, I love the colors...second, the binding work is such a terrific detail...third...you made it modern with your stencil and last...your friend loves it!
