hee hee, very cute! i especially love the hat, i'll try that one out.
for hat brims that stand up over time i cut the shape out of a yogurt container. it has that shape already, washes well and is very stiff. try it out sometime!

That back-to-school dress is fantastic- not too busy at all!  I think your niece would be proud to wear it for the first day of school.

I was in such amazement of your applique skills I couldn't get past the Owl dress. I had to go back and look at the clips everyone keeps talking about!!! I would love to be able to do that. I always cheat and use my embroidery machine...Love them both but the Owl is my favorite! THIS ROCKS!!!
