These are so cute! I have been looking for a hat pattern like that for days! Where did you find yours?

I love your dresses and wish I had your great sewing skills =)

Thanks so much for the nice comments!!! The dress pattern is the Anna wrap dress from Farbenmix and the hat pattern is 3652 It's so easy by simplicity. And trust me girls everytime I try a new pattern for the first time I always seem to have to use that good old seam ripper!!! because I make a mistake somewhere along the way, and that wasn't the case with either the hat or the dress. A little tip I could give with the hat is to use a light weight interface for the hat and a heavy interface for the brim of the hat. That is how I made this one and the brim is nice and sturdy not flimsy. Thanks again for looking and the feedback!!!

Thanks for the hat pattern. I will give that a try for dd.

Also, if you don't mind, where did you get the owl pattern? Or did you make it up? I'm so hooked on owls right now that I must make another owl purse.

Excellent work!! I love, love, *love* the Anna dresses. They are easy to make and look so cool, plus they're a terrific 'canvas' for applique.

I was at JAs last night, and almost bought that back to school fabric. You made a very cute dress. I may need to go back and get it.

Lique,
I found the Owl pattern on-line looking up free coloring book pages. You should be able to find one quite easily but if not I have saved it to my computer (unfortunately it doesn't say the site I downloaded it from) so I could always email it to you as an attachment if you would like.... Just let me know.
