so i worked as the "craft lady" at a girl scout camp this summer and during a "jungle themed" week we make sculpy clay animals.  most of the kid's pieces came out...  like they were made by kids if you know what i mean.  but one of my campers, a 14 year old who claims to have never worked with clay made these for me and my friend.  despite her obnoxiousness that made me want to strangle her, she's an amazingly talented artist and i had to show off what she made!
a dalmation for my friend "pongo" (we have camp nicknames that we go by)

and a monkey for me!

That's amazing. Are you lying to us? A fourteen year old who never did anything with polymer clay made those? I'm impressed.

weeelll...  i did say she CLAIMED to have never worked with it before.  she was a bit of a brat, so she very well could have lied to me.
but either way, i was pretty impressed as well.
