What a nifty conversion! And it would successfully corral so much computer stuff!

It truly rocks!

Awww, thanks guys!  It is a significantly smaller space than I am used to but I am hoping that will curtail my "office sprawl"!!!

In answer to the heating question - I had my friend who welded the shelves on to cut out as much of the back as possible and still maintain it's structural integrity.  So far so good - I would seriously cry if my Mac got hurt!

It took about a year to complete only because I couldn't find a non-working, non-restored coke machine locally and had to buy it on ebay (shipping was more than the machine!) wait for it to ship and then my friend is super busy and since he was doing this for (almost) free I had to be patient and let him work on it when he didn't have anything else to do.  Since he is a mechanic with about 10 "project cars" of his own, not to mention paying customers I was definitely at the bottom of his "to do" list!!!

How fun is that?!  Cool Cool (2 cool)
My sis used to collect Coke stuff. I think she's gotten tired of it after all these decades tho...
I too was concerned about the heat. I guess if you have the door open while it is on you should be ok. If things got bad you could put a small fan or two near the top to pull the hot air out. With holes near the bottom you should get some good air flow.
