I made my first quilt for charity the other day.  I used a typing paper piece technique using scrap bits of flannel I had leftover from making the cloth diapers I never actually use.

My daughter "helped" by trying to hold the quilt fabric as it went through the machine.  And of course she tested it for comfyness.

The quilt will be going to a hospital so maybe it can comfort a child who's not feeling well.

You are awesome!  It's great that you're helping other babies.  You (and your daughter) did a great sew job on the quilt too!!  I like the pattern and blue is my favorite color.

The words you speak to others are like medicine; they can bring either life or death depending upon how you dispense them.

I love humanitarian crafting! I may have to use some of my scraps in this way too. I mean, how many twirly skirts can one gal make? I love how you let your DD "help!"
