I made these today to wear ice skating, although I didn't get to go since my right wisdom tooth is coming in or is infected..i don't know which. Sad  Anywhoo.  I used an old cashmere sweater (gasp, I know, I can't believe I cut it up either).  I cut the arms off since the armpits were getting holes in them.  I never wear this sweater because it is just way to hot here in Arizona.  I basically just sewed up the center of the sleeve to make it tighter, and then cut stars out of felt.  I used hot pink thread to sew those on.  They only took me about half an hour to complete.  Enjoy!

I have totally been thinking about this the past couple of days for my daughter, she has all her Tshirts and with a few arm warmers she can wear them through the fall too!

did u have to sew the ends up to stop them threading?

yeah, I sewed up the end that was attached to the sweater body.  I just did some lettuce edging.
