 Ok, so I can finally put up my pictures!! Sorry it took so long, I just got home from work not to long ago. Hippiejo74 sent some fantastic stuff, here it all is!

 First was this amazing skirt, made from t-shirts and jeans, she must have spent so much time on it! And it fits perfectly!




 Then she made this gorgeous, ocean themed, decoupaged box from tissue paper, that also had stickers and resin on it. I really like the colors on it! 



 She also made me a bracelet out of a knitting needle I think it was (can you tell I don't knit), resin jewelry, and a really cute bag from a tshirt with CATS and a bird embroidered on!





 Everything was super, I love everything hippiejo74! I'm bringing my skirt with me camping Thanks so much again, I can't wait to send yours!!

I received from mimikachu today! 

She made me a fantastic journal -- which I really needed for my sketches and designs!  How did you know?  And a tiny notepad made from her metro cards -- how cute!  She also included a cool pencil (a smencil) that is made 100% from recycled newspapers -- and smells like CHOCOLATE!

I really need to learn to make these.

A neat record bowl -- it's going to hold some of my crafty supplies!


And last, but definitely not least, a handsewn bag from reclaimed fabrics!

This bag will be perfect for shopping.  And check out those stitches!  Girl, you must have a TON of patience.

The greatest moment of my childhood was when I was given a sewing machine. It meant I no longer had to hand-sew my Barbie clothes.

I have the utmost respect for anyone willing to handsew human-sized projects.

The paper bead jewelry is really cool! I finished my medium tonight and *ahem* started my large. My small totally bombed- I'm going to have to start over on that one.

I'm so happy that you liked the package! I have never ever tried to make paper beads before, but considering that I've taken to using subway maps for everything--rolling them up into beads and sealing them only seems natural. I am also definitely considering getting a sewing machine---but I kind of take pride in all my ridiculous hand-sewing-ness. I also live in NYC. Which means, um, no space.

Everything looks great! Good job to those who were early! I sent my package today and I can't wait until Morgan gets it. I hope she will find everything useful. I have posted pictures of the items I sent on my flickr (no peeking morgan!) I can't wait to see what everyone else gets!

  Whoops.....forgot to check the gallery! So glad everything came and fitted and everything, nicolatte. The bag is actually from a set of jersey(tee shirt material) bed sheets that I purchased. The bag holds the sheets and already has the bag complete! I use these everytime I buy jersey sheets and use them for our car to hold toys for the kiddies. The purple patch I hand beaded and the material came from an absolutely hideous wedding bridesmaid dress and the bracelet is made from, yep, a knitting needle. The resin had recycled stuff in it from hand made cards from my friends/family.
Barbolot - what a great haul! The journal made me laugh (I love Barry! ) and the paper beads are way cool!
