So I was in Joann's, and I noticed that they have the Halloween fabric in. Now Halloween is my all time favorite holiday, so I had to buy some. But what to do with it? I had been planning on making a wristlet for going out in the evening to bars and such. So I thoughts why not a Halloween wristlet?

I am a very visual thinker, so here is my wristlet plus my plans....

And here is the wristlet:

I used a vintage button, from my collection, as a closure.
Because snaps are hard and I hate velcro.

Open wristlet:

I just love the orange and purple combo.
And the purple isn't Halloween fabric, it's just plane quilters cotton.
So it was cheap. ^^

And here is the inside:

There is a pocket and a zipper pocket.

It successfully holds all evening out essentials: phone, moneys, lip gloss, and cards.
I am in love.
I think I will have to make more of these.

It's really neat. :3
I'll have to get some halloween fabric soon too, even though I wouldn't know what to do with it. <:

:jawdrop:  ok so .. how did you read my mind!?  Like really, lol, I have the *exact* same picture in my "stuff to do" folder and stuff.  I really like it.  My goal is to add some slips for credit cards and make it like a real "everything" kind of wallet (just not as thick).
ANyways, *great* job.  You know i love it

Thanks guys.
I have a ton of the fabric left.

That is adorable!!! I always love all the holiday-themed fabrics, but I never know what to do with them. Excellent idea!

Um... I guess I could put together a tutorial.
It wasn't too hard to do.
It kinda came together with a lot of luck.

I will try to put something together if people are interested.
